Since it's beginning in May of 1961, North Woods Inn has enjoyed a rich history of being famous for it's steak and prime rib dinners. From the start, North Woods Inn was a gathering place for the owners, trainers and jockeys from Centennial Race Track during it's long life in Littleton. Governors, mayors, actors and actresses alike have all enjoyed an evening at the North Woods Inn. Young children, who have experienced the thrill of throwing peanut shells on the floor and tackling Paul-Bunyan-sized meals in our logging camp atmosphere, have returned as adults to introduce their children to the same experience. The move to our new location in January of 1997 provided a beautiful park like setting, perfect for people to walk and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
Nowhere in the Denver area can you find steak and prime rib like you will eat at the North Woods Inn. The famous soup is homemade daily and the cottage cheese is one of a kind. The cottage cheese mix and the steak seasoning are both prepared in our kitchen from private recipes created over 41 years ago and the seasonings may be purchased at the bar.
